Devi’s English Vinglish has opened to positive reviews already.
The film was appreciated by Amitabh Bachchan aka Big B, who was
moved to tears after watching a screening.Now Kolywood’s numero
uno star Rajinikanth has showered praises on English Vinglish.
Rajinikanth and family were shown a special screening of the
film with Sri Devi and her husband Boney Kapoor present in the
hall in Chennai. “Rajini sir really enjoyed the film.The
screening was exclusively for him” , reports our source. Other
than the bigwigs of Indian cinema, actress Priya Anand was
invited.
She plays a key role in English Vinglish and
was in 7th heaven praised by Rajini himself. She says, “I can’t
believe my lucky stars! Watching English Vinglish with
‘Superstar Rajinikanth’ Wow! Superstar Rajinikanth thinks I did
an awesome job.
I think I can conquer the world! Thank You God and Universe for
giving me this opportunity!” As part of promotions for Englsh
Vinglish Sri Devi has been giving interviews and making public
appearances to the media in the past week.
The film releases in Tamil and Hindi worldwide and has Ajith
playing a cameo role in the Tamil version, with Big B taking up
the same role in Hindi. Fans can catch Thala and Sri Devi
together on October 5th, confirmed as the English Vinglish
