Rajinikanth's
forthcoming magnum opus Kochadaiyaan is likely to be postponed,
as the post-production works are taking more time than expected.
Now, the movie is expected to hit the screens for Pongal, which
means it would clash with Kamal Hassan's Vishwaroopam.
The buzz says that Kochadaiyaan was supposed to release on
December 12, but the makers are busy with the production works.
They are not keen on wrapping up the film in a hurry, as it is a
mega-budget movie. Hence, it appears like the flick, in all
probabilities, will be postponed for Pongal which may lead to a
rare clash.
Recently, it was revealed that Vishwaroopam
would release for Pongal. However, the Kamal Hassan starrer
movie is almost ready and in order to avoid this clash, the
makers of Vishwaroopam might release it early, claims the buzz.
Rajinikanth's Kochadaiyaan is a mega-budget film directed by his
daughter Soundarya Ashwin. It features Deepika Padukone, Jackie
Shroff, Sarath Kumar and others in the cast. It is a period film
that is inspired by Pandya king Kochadaiyaan Ranadheeran and it
is a fictional account of the ruler.
On the other end, Vishwaroopam is a spy-thriller starring Kamal
Hassan, Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Rahul Bose and others in
the cast. In addition to writing the story, screenplay and
dialogues, Kamal has taken the responsibility of directing the
